It is absolutely amazing.

The clue to curing many chronics diseases once thought incurable are now being found in stimulating the vagus nerve. The Journal of Psychiatry just reported that vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) is safe and beneficial for some patients with Alzheimer’s Disease. It is the identical procedure that I had for depression, which is also the identical procedure performed in epilepsy patients.

This incredibly important study showed that VNS is well tolerated and safe in patients with Alzheimer’s disease. Furthermore, the study indicated that VNS may be of benefit, as a cognitive enhancing therapy. Just over 50% of patients showed improvement or no decline in the Alzheimer Disease. Furthermore 70.6% of patients had improvement or no decline from baseline on the Mini-Mental Status Examination(MMSE)
