Diabetes amputation and brain matters are linked. It has been my experience that the patient begins to sort of hallucinate after about five (5) with the amputation. It has to due to the Pulmonary Artery Disease whereby the brain is not getting enough blood in conjunction to the foot loosing blood flow. This leads to the decision to have now both leg amputated. If you are caring for someone with diabetes and notice signs of hallucination or paranoia, seek help from a vascular surgeon. They deal with the blood flow throughout the body. It is not neurological (brain) matter. It has to do with blood flow. And also, this signifies the begin to the end of the patient’s life. Be prepared.

Diet plays a major role in having diabetes. In today’s world, people are finding it much harder to avoid food with high sugar content. All the sweets are so yummy. So, it’s simply a matter of discipline or willpower to stay healthy. In any case, it’s easier said than done.
