My refererences are based on multiple sources from the social sciences literature. Some of the typologies use somewhat differerent terms than I do. Just do a search of several literature sources, & you will find a collection of authors.

Where and by whom was this research carried out please? As part of my degree course I am studying Social psychology, having already studied developmental and abnormal psychology, and am covering aggression at the moment.

In regards to human aggression there are at least 6 subtypes that are ID from the psychological, anthropolgical & socialogical literature. I use the following convention when i teach about this:
Predatory
Antipredatory
Impulsive
Dominant
Affiliative
Defensive

Some are absolutely necessary for survival & of the fitest!
